St. Paul Minnesota based Hypersleep kicks things off with I & II by crafting a mixture of field recordings from nature and urban locations, then infuses them with deep electronic sound design to form near future cyberpunk environments that seem to slow time down to a halt.

The resulting ambience is not really crafted for background listening but rather full body immersion. This record seems to have enough mass and density to generate it's own gravitational pull.

Hypersleep as a name feels like an appropriate way to describe the concept of the sound as it enters a state of deep, uninterrupted stasis.
